The Estimate We write a computerized estimate that supplies line item prices based on current market standards. This provides you with a line item computerized estimate, which details the entire project. We write estimates from your plans or hand-sketched drawings. When we complete an estimate, we're available to answer any new questions you may have. In our written estimates, we cover quantity, survey and expense. Surveys are lists for all types of material that go into the construction plans and specifications. The estimate cost converts quantities into expenses for labor, material, and equipment, and adds subcontracted items and overhead to arrive at the total expense.
