If you are considering using Home Estimate Cost (HEC) to write an estimate please read below. Questions; 1. What is your turnaround time for estimating jobs? Answer; Each project is priced separately based on your information that is supplied to HEC. What are the details of your projects?
Do you have a set of building plans or drawings to be reviewed? If yes, can you send them to HEC by mail? Do you have specifications and information lists of items going into your project to be reviewed? We include a material take-off report with all of our estimates at no additional charge. 2. How do you calculate your fees? Answer; Once all the information has been reviewed we will let you know what the contract price quote will be to complete your estimate.
3. I'd like to feel at ease when contacting you, how difficult is it to get a hold of the person who will be estimating the project? Answer; Cost pricing is based on your zip code or largest nearby city. Pricing is updated monthly in your area. All labor and materials are average quality unless otherwise stated. All of the details for the project are provided by the customer and guaranteed based on the information supplied to us. If the estimate is more or even less then what you expected or thought it would cost, then let us know so we can follow up with you and go over the cost of your project? Check out all your dimensions and details that were given to us by you the customer. You should review your estimate and make notes so we can discuss any differences of the line items (numbers) that were entered into the scope. We can make changes to your scope and update your estimate with current prices at a later date at no additional cost to you.
