Our estimates are for large and small projects, Nationwide. 2. Who are your most typical customers? Our estimates are written for Homeowners, Contractors, working with new and old construction. 3. What categories of information will be included in my estimate? All estimates have description of line item detail, material to be used, quantity, unit cost of each item, total cost calculation (sq/linear ft) and labor. All information is based on the details provided by the customer for each room or project. (See Estimate Sample) 4. What type of material list will I receive with the estimate? Our material list has a description of the product, quantity, and the unit price; i.e. gallon(s), cubic yard, linear feet, square feet, or pound, then total price of the calculation. Along with the material list we add in machinery or equipment needed to complete the job. (See Material List in Estimate Sample) 6. What kind of contract labor information is included in the estimate? The estimate includes a description of carpentry, masonry, electrical, painter, labor etc. The estimate quantifies the hours, unit price, and total. All information is based on the details provided by the customer for each room or project. ((See Material List in Estimate Sample) 7. Do I get a drawing with my estimate? You will receive a Sketch drawing as part of the estimate. Customer provides a detailed blueprint or scaled drawing layout of the room or project and is generated as a component of the estimate. The customer is required to measure accurate dimensions of the rooms for length, height, width, plus door & window locations in order to receive a quality estimate. We can price out a new house or home, material take-off, estimate any size room, cost of painting, new kitchen, bathroom, whole house renovation, interior/exterior and estimate small or large additions. Cost pricing is based in your area by zip code or largest nearby city. Pricing is updated monthly. All labor and materials are of average quality unless otherwise stated. 10. What do you charge and how does the customer pay? Email general information to (See Contact on left). Project size and detail determines cost estimate price. For larger projects with less detail, the estimate would be less in total cost. (See Cost Pricing) on left. All SF pricing size and detail determines cost estimate price. All pricing included in the estimate is based on the details provided by the customer for each project. Please go to contacts on the navigation bar left side and fill in your information so we may follow up on your inquiry and for a price quote. When we receive your information we will review it and will contact you by email with a price quote. The estimate at completion will be emailed in a PDF format attachment to the customer. It is important to have a scaled floor plan drawing with length, width and floor to ceiling dimensions plus door and window locations, wall offsets and closets for all rooms. This is needed for proper quantity, labor and material costs. More details will provide a true estimate for your project. Your detailed blueprint or scaled floor plan will be used to create a sketch drawing and is generated as a component of the estimate. The estimate can be mailed if requested as a hard copy to the customer. 11. Up grading a new project and How does the customer get started? Begin by emailing your name and a short description of what you would like to get updated. Then send information by measuring each room. Follow the instructions on the attached document Drawing Instructions. Describe the room and provide further details. Include your ideas for the new changes. The estimate is based on details provided by the customer for each room or project. We can help you with your information on your details and any questions that you may have. We have free consulting prior to writing your Estimate. 12. I’m not physically located in your area; can you still provide me with an estimate? Yes. We maintain material and labor pricing information for all areas in the USA by zip code or closest city. 13. Can someone from Home Estimate Cost assist me at the project site? Yes. When the customer wants us to be present at the job site, we will charge consulting fees, plus travel expenses. The customer approves all on-site consulting fees and travel fees in advance. These fees will be added to the cost of the delivered estimate. 14. FREE CONSULTING!!!! Free consulting time prior to writing the estimate is available to get an estimate started.
